Message of Healing
Healing means taking back my sexuality. I didn’t have sex again for over a year after he raped me. My whole first year of college was spent hiding my body and feeling sick at the thought of physical intimacy.
I was a senior in high school, he was a junior in college. He came over one night and we smoked pot together. When we went back to my room he tried to take my clothes off but I told him I wasn’t ready to do anything. He told me since he drove an hour from school to come see me I owed him sex. He continued to pull on my clothes but I was too high to fight back and eventually I passed out. I remember waking up to him being on top of me. I passed out again and when I woke back up I didn’t have pants on.
